ITALAM - Doing business in Colombia

The past 6 of June ITALAM, a consultancy company owned by Veneto accountant firms specialized in services for internationalization with a focus in Latin America, has organized a meeting in the office of Studio Righini, a ITALAM partner, during which the Colombian Ambassador in Italy Juan Mesa Zuleta, has presented the most attractive industries in the Country, in particular agro-industry, tourism, renewable energy, infrastructures and technology.

The Ambassador, has then highlighted how Colombia could be considered also as a gate for the others American markets penetration, by exploiting the existing free trade agreements, with the possibility to reach a potential market of more than one billion of consumers.
The reunion was organized as a roundtable and coordinated by Dott. Alberto Righini, partner of Studio Righini and responsible of international relations, during which have also participated the plenipotentiary economic secretary Juan Carlos Sarmiento, the Colombian honorary consul in Venice Mattia Carlin, ITALAM consultants and some Veneto entrepreneurs.

At the end of the roundtable the entrepreneurs had the possibility, with a “one to one” meeting with Colombian diplomats, to present their companies and to further examine the specific opportunities of their business in Colombia, the day ended with a dinner.

The day after the Ambassador, accompanied by ITALAM consultant, has visited some local companies where he has appreciated the vitality of the entrepreneurship and he showed his willingness to help to realize business initiative between local and Colombian companies.
